I haven’t had much time for Wardrobe Refashion projects but I did manage to appliqué this skirt over the weekend. I love appliqué and it i so, so much easier with Steam-a-Seam, a fusible webbing I found through my favorite podcast Craftypod. I know that sounded so much like an ad but I swear, no one at Steam-a-Seam is giving me money! Honestly, I am not sure I would turn it down!

So far so good with not buying anything new. It hasn’t been easy though. Tomorrow I will face the ultimate test: I have to do a stylist pul at Anthropologie. Every time I go in there and know that I can’t buy anything it hurts me just a little bit. I will stay strong though: I know I don’t need any more new crap and it makes me feel good to know that I am taking myself out of the market for a little while.
