One of my favorite artists Helle Jorgenson just opened an Etsy shop called Gooseflesh filled with beautiful jewelry made from “pre-loved” tapestry wool and other little bits and bobs.
The bracelet on the right is already sold so act fast!

I’m having a hard time motivating myself this week. The million of deadlines of the past two weeks have come and gone and most of what I have left to do is self-imposed, the hardest of deadlines to follow.
So far today, my most productive moment came when I moved all of my table linens out [...]

Despite the heat and humidity yesterday, I decided it would be a good day to make a pie. I love berry season and it would be a shame for it to fly by without a few pies!
I don’t usually make my own crust too but it wasn’t that much harder than buying it pre-made. And [...]

I’m having a hard time getting myself going after the whirlwind that was Renegade so I though I would make a little list of things that have been inspiring me lately. In fact, I am going to try and make this a regular weekly thing. I hate forcing myself into blog schedules but it’s always [...]

I’ve had the plans for these in my head for years but somehow I had never gotten around to [...]

Well, Renegade has come and gone. We came, we sold, we spent most of our earnings on adorable handmade things. Ok, maybe not most but I was uncharacteristically loose with my wallet.

Here’s all of us on Sunday night, struggling to stay awake and on our feet. I’m on the end-damn, I’m short!
I decided not [...]

I’ll be at Renegade Craft Fair for the weekend selling my wares so I won’t be able to update for a few days. Hope you can make it!
I’ll be back next week with lots of pictures and new inspiration!

I adore this bench made by Etsy seller JackRabbit.
The designer crocheted hundreds (369, to be exact) of little “weiners” (heehee) from donated recycled sweaters that she dyed with a natural mix of madder and hibiscus flowers.
She then used the stuffing from and old couch found on the street to stuff the weiners and used a [...]
